At the Waterwise Garden are catching up and finding their niche among the mature trees we planted over 25 years ago!
Early on in Jil’s career she sought to work with some of Seattle’s icons of Landscape Architecture. For a brief moment, she had the good fortune of sitting in Rich Haag’s office. Rich asked her to create this illustrative rendering of his beloved Bloedel Reserve - before the Garden of Planes was removed. This film clip is classic Professor Haag (fun fact - he was the Father of Landscape Architecture at University of Washington)!
Seattle is so much the richer for his contributions over his long & wonderful lifetime.
